The Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Society commissioned SHM Architects to design a new open-air pavilion adjacent to The Chandler Lindsley Shadow Garden.

Sited between the Camp House and the DeGolyer Estate, this new multi-purpose pavilion serves as a flexible covered patio for a popular tram stop along the garden's main paseo, a small-scale café venue, and can easily be transformed into a concert stage for small ensemble musical performances in the garden. Additionally, it would have the capacity to become the dais for an intimate wedding ceremony.
