Karly grew up in Brandon, MS with an immediate passion for design and homes. She always found herself building houses and spaces for her toys and dolls. She ended up studying architecture at Mississippi State University where she was also a part of the Chi Omega Sorority and Cheerleading team. Although Karly’s love for football and Dak Prescott grew, her love for architecture grew more and she knew she wanted to pursue a career in residential design.
Karly had the opportunity to be an intern for SHM during her fourth year of school and learned so much about the detail of space, importance of day-to-day life in a home and client experience. After graduating, she moved to Dallas to continue her career at SHM while also continuing her fandom for Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (she met her husband at a game!).
Now that Karly has worked on several Colorado projects, her love for the mountains has grown exponentially. There is nothing quite like a home that values its climate, purpose, and breathtaking views. She loves visiting every chance she gets!
Her hobbies include traveling, running, exploring her new home of Fort Worth, hanging with friends, and loving on her Golden Retriever, Navy.
