SUMMER internship Program
SHM Architects’ Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students a holistic summary of our design process. In addition to our project work, you will have the opportunity to work on a project of your own designed to help you understand our process and design goals. In this process, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with architects, designers, and our interiors team to finish the summer with a design of your own.
The program also includes guided site visits, office happy hours, access to ARE Study resources/mentors, and mentorship from our internship coordinator and firm leaders. We believe in providing the tools to be successful and sharing our deeply rooted culture to assist in developing your career.
Thank you for your interest in the SHM Architects Summer Internship Program. Every year in December or January, we open applications for our summer internships in architecture, interior design, and landscape design. Please check our website at that time to apply. Keep in mind that to be considered, every applicant must provide a resume, portfolio/samples of work as well as complete a brief workstyle survey. Positions are typically filled no later than the end of March each year. If you don't see an active job posting, we invite you to apply the following year.
