Jourdan is a rare Dallas native. She attended The Hockaday School before heading north to Cornell University to study Hotel Administration then promptly returned home after graduation trading the harsh northern winters for hot Texas summers.
While working on a project building and designing private yachts for a private equity firm, Jourdan fell in love with the process of interior design and decided to follow her passion to pursue a degree in that field.
Jourdan is a registered interior designer in the state of Texas and is NCIDQ certified. With her Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institute, Jourdan offers a well-trained eye for quality, craftsmanship, furnishings, and textiles with a hospitality minded delivery. Experienced in both traditional and contemporary styles, Jourdan is able to design any interior to fit a client’s tastes and interests.
When she is not designing, Jourdan enjoys traveling, cooking, crafts, and spending time with friends and family, especially her white Labrador, Chantilly Lace (appropriately named after her favorite Benjamin Moore paint color).
