Andrew Stiglmeier received his Bachelor and Masters of Architecture from Texas Tech University in 2008 and 2009 respectively. His passion for architecture was sparked his freshman year of high school when he took a drafting class. He enjoyed it so much that he took it a second time, eventually became a teacher’s aide, and convinced the school to create a new Advanced Drafting class. Throughout the process he was able to learn and hone his CAD skills, which became an invaluable asset in his pursuit of architecture as a career.
In addition to loving architecture at a young age, Andrew also grew playing every sport imaginable (although he especially loved basketball, baseball, and football). In an effort to get back in shape and live a healthy lifestyle, Andrew started CrossFit in 2013. When he’s not practicing architecture, studying for his ARE tests, or spending time with his wife and family, he is most likely at the gym.
Andrew was born in in Poughkeepsie, NY, and lived in Chicago, Denver, Singapore, and San Antonio before moving to Dallas in 2010 to start at SHM. At present, he has been to more countries than states in the U.S.
